Ok lets get something straight, the Air Force is a great branch of the armed forces, however it's only great towards the officers. For example the Army was created for ground combat and since almost all of there ground forces are enlisted, they are what the media see therefore everybody respects that. The Navy are for water based operations, however since there personal are always on the water, it doesnt matter if your an Officer or Enlisted because both do the same job and are respected as such. However the Air Force is the complete reverse-opposite of the Army...we are known for our planes, our "air-power" if you will. That said you can't be a pilot of any kind if you are not an Officer and to be an Officer you need a bachlors degree. Now that said the Enlisted force of the Air Force is disrespected day by day by the other branches even Air Force members play Air Force members out. I'm a cop in the Air Force a "Security Forces" member. I fuckin hate it! We get no respect we are the only people walkin around with weapons and our job is fruitless, plus i came in to kick in doors an kill the bad guys, SF plays defense and the only time we play offense is when we work with the Army and even then we are 2nd rate. I'm goin out to be a Warrent officer in the Army...at least i'll be respected
